Meg Ferron, born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan came home after spending years living in England and Chicago to open The Fuchsia Frog. After working in the boutique retail/design trade, it was time to put all of her visions into a tangible entity and open a store in her hometown. Her first store opened in 2003 and expanded in 2005. She launched her Website in 2005 as well. Over the next few years, Meg got married and had a son.

In March 2008, The Fuchsia Frog relocated to the thriving Rail District in Birmingham. A slower economy made Meg think, "Either I close the business or make some changes." Knowing that there was a tremendous need for her store and its services, she decided to stay open. Changes were made and The Fuchsia Frog re-opened at its new location on Cole Street and began offering full-service monogram products and services, something Meg had always wanted to incorporate into her business.

Being a mother, a wife and business owner have allowed Meg to wear every hat imaginable and she just could not give up the life of a retailer and say goodbye to all of the people she had meet over the years. She hopes you enjoy your Fuchsia Frog experience online and in the store.
